Baldry achieved commercial success with his hit single "Let the Heartaches Begin" in 1967, which reached the top 5 in the UK charts. He also had a successful career as a voice actor, most notably providing the voice for the character Dr. Robotnik in the animated TV series "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog." Long John Baldry passed away on July 21, 2005, leaving behind a legacy as a respected blues musician and influential figure in the British music scene.
