Lords of the Underground is a hip-hop group from Newark, New Jersey, formed in 1990. The group consists of members Bruce Anthony Colston, better known as DJ Lord Jazz, Dupre "DoItAll" Kelly, and Al'Terik Wardrick, also known as Mr. Funke. They are known for their energetic and hardcore style of hip-hop, blending elements of funk and soul into their music. Lords of the Underground released their debut album, "Here Come the Lords," in 1993, which included their hit single "Chief Rocka."
Following the success of their debut album, Lords of the Underground continued to release music throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.
