Los Indios Tabajaras were a guitar duo from Brazil, consisting of two brothers, Natalicio and Antenor Lima. They gained international fame in the 1950s and 1960s for their unique blend of classical guitar music with traditional Brazilian melodies. The duo's most famous recording is their 1963 rendition of "Maria Elena," which became a major hit in the United States and Europe, reaching the top of the charts.


Los Indios Tabajaras toured extensively around the world, performing in prestigious venues and gaining a large following. They recorded numerous albums, showcasing their virtuoso guitar skills and their ability to create beautiful harmonies.
