Los Lobos is an American Chicano rock band formed in 1973 in East Los Angeles, California. The band's music is a blend of rock, Tex-Mex, country, folk, R&B, blues, and traditional Spanish and Mexican music styles. They gained international fame in 1987 with their cover of Ritchie Valens' "La Bamba," which was featured in the film of the same name.


Los Lobos has released over 20 albums throughout their career, including critically acclaimed works such as "How Will the Wolf Survive?" and "Kiko." The band has won multiple Grammy Awards, including one for Best Mexican-American Performance for their album "La Pistola y El Coraz├│n." Los Lobos is known for their versatile musical style, skilled musicianship, and powerful live performances, making them influential figures in the Chicano rock music scene.
