Artist Bio:
Lost Boyz was a hip-hop group from South Jamaica, Queens, New York. The group consisted of members Mr. Cheeks, Freaky Tah, DJ Spigg Nice, and Pretty Lou. They rose to fame in the mid-1990s with their debut album "Legal Drug Money," which was released in 1996. The album featured hits such as "Renee" and "Jeeps, Lex Coups, Bimaz & Benz," and was certified gold by the RIAA.
Tragically, Lost Boyz faced a setback when member Freaky Tah was shot and killed in 1999. Despite this loss, the group continued to release music and tour, with Mr. Cheeks taking on a more prominent role as the face of the group. Lost Boyz released several albums throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s before disbanding. They are remembered for their unique New York sound and contributions to the hip-hop scene of the era.
