Artist Bio:
Lost Boyz was a hip-hop group formed in South Jamaica, Queens, New York, in 1993. The original members included Mr. Cheeks, Freaky Tah, DJ Spigg Nice, and Pretty Lou. They gained popularity in the mid-1990s with their debut album "Legal Drug Money," which was released in 1996. The album achieved commercial success and spawned hits like "Renee" and "Lifestyles of the Rich and Shameless." Lost Boyz was known for their smooth flow, catchy hooks, and storytelling lyrics.
Tragically, Freaky Tah was shot and killed in 1999, which had a significant impact on the group. Despite the loss, Lost Boyz continued to release music and perform, but they never reached the same level of success as they did with their debut album. The group disbanded in the early 2000s, but Mr. Cheeks continued to pursue a solo career in music.
