Artist Bio

Artist Bio:
Lostprophets were a Welsh rock band formed in 1997 in Pontypridd, Wales. The band consisted of lead vocalist Ian Watkins, guitarist Lee Gaze, guitarist Mike Lewis, bassist Stuart Richardson, keyboardist Jamie Oliver, and drummer Luke Johnson. Lostprophets gained popularity in the early 2000s with their unique blend of alternative rock, post-hardcore, and nu-metal music.

The band released several successful albums, including "The Fake Sound of Progress" (2000), "Start Something" (2004), and "Liberation Transmission" (2006). They achieved commercial success with hit singles like "Last Train Home" and "Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast)". However, in 2013, lead vocalist Ian Watkins was convicted of serious sexual offenses, leading to the band's disbandment and tarnishing their reputation. Despite their past success, Lostprophets' music is now largely overshadowed by the criminal actions of their former lead singer.
