Lou Gramm, born Louis Andrew Grammatico on May 2, 1950, is an American rock singer and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of the band Foreigner. He co-wrote many of the band's hits, including "Feels Like the First Time," "Cold as Ice," "Hot Blooded," and "I Want to Know What Love Is." Gramm's powerful and distinctive voice helped propel Foreigner to international success in the 1970s and 1980s.
In addition to his work with Foreigner, Lou Gramm has also released solo albums, including "Ready or Not" and "Long Hard Look." He embarked on a solo career in the late 1980s and continued to perform as a solo artist while also reuniting with Foreigner for various tours and performances. Gramm's contributions to rock music have earned him a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Foreigner.
