Lou Gramm, born Louis Andrew Grammatico on May 2, 1950, is an American rock singer and songwriter best known as the original lead vocalist of the band Foreigner. He co-founded Foreigner in 1976 with guitarist Mick Jones, and the band went on to achieve massive commercial success with hits such as "I Want to Know What Love Is," "Cold as Ice," and "Hot Blooded." Gramm's powerful voice and charismatic stage presence played a significant role in the band's popularity during the late 1970s and 1980s.


Throughout his career, Lou Gramm released several solo albums, including "Ready or Not" and "Long Hard Look." He temporarily left Foreigner in the early 1990s to focus on his solo career but later rejoined the band for various reunions and tours. Gramm's distinctive vocals and contributions to Foreigner's classic rock sound have solidified his status as a legendary figure in the music industry.
