Love Unlimited was an R&B vocal trio formed in 1969 by singer-songwriter Barry White. The group consisted of White's future wife, Glodean James, her sister, Linda James, and their cousin, Diane Taylor. Love Unlimited is best known for their soulful and romantic sound, characterized by lush orchestration and Barry White's deep voice as the producer and arranger. They released their debut album, "From A Girl's Point of View We Give to You... Love Unlimited," in 1972, which included their hit single "Walkin' in the Rain with the One I Love." The group went on to release several more albums throughout the 1970s, achieving success with songs like "I Belong to You" and "It May Be Winter Outside (But in My Heart It's Spring)."
