Love Unlimited was a female vocal trio formed in 1969 by singer-songwriter Barry White. The group consisted of sisters Glodean James, Linda James, and Diane Taylor. They were best known for their soulful and romantic sound, often backed by orchestral arrangements. Love Unlimited released their debut album in 1972, which included the hit single "Walkin' in the Rain with the One I Love."
The group's most successful album was "In Heat," released in 1974, which featured the popular songs "I Belong to You" and "Under the Influence of Love." Love Unlimited disbanded in the late 1970s, but their music continued to be celebrated for its lush, melodic sound and the powerful vocals of the group members. Barry White often collaborated with Love Unlimited on their albums, and their music remains popular among fans of 1970s soul and R&B.
