L.T.D. (Love, Togetherness, and Devotion) was an American R&B/funk band formed in 1968 in Greensboro, North Carolina. The band's original lineup consisted of Jeffrey Osborne, Billy Osborne, Henry Davis, Johnny McGhee, Carle Vickers, and Abraham "Onion" Miller. They later moved to Los Angeles and signed with A&M Records, where they achieved commercial success in the 1970s.
Their most famous hit singles include "Love Ballad," "Holding On (When Love Is Gone)," and "(Every Time I Turn Around) Back in Love Again." L.T.D. is known for their smooth, soulful sound and energetic live performances. The band went through various lineup changes over the years, with Jeffrey Osborne leaving in 1980 to pursue a successful solo career. Despite these changes, L.T.D. continued to release music and tour into the 2000s, maintaining a loyal fan base and influencing the R&B music scene.
