L.T.D. (Love, Togetherness, and Devotion) is an American R&B/funk band that was formed in 1968 in Greensboro, North Carolina. The group gained popularity in the 1970s with hits such as "Love Ballad," "(Every Time I Turn Around) Back in Love Again," and "Holding On (When Love Is Gone)." L.T.D. was known for their smooth vocals, tight instrumentals, and energetic live performances.
The band's lineup has seen some changes over the years, with Jeffrey Osborne serving as the lead vocalist from 1976 to 1980. L.T.D. continued to release music throughout the 1980s before eventually disbanding. Despite their later years being less commercially successful, L.T.D. remains a respected name in the R&B and funk music scene, with their hits still enjoyed by fans old and new.
