L.T.D. (Love, Togetherness, and Devotion) is an American R&B/funk band that was formed in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1968. The band was originally named Love Men Ltd. and underwent a few lineup changes before settling on the name L.T.D. in the early 1970s. The group's original members included Jeffrey Osborne, Henry Davis, and Jake Riley, among others.
L.T.D. gained popularity in the 1970s with hits such as "Love Ballad," "(Every Time I Turn Around) Back in Love Again," and "Holding On (When Love Is Gone)." The band's music is characterized by its smooth vocals, tight instrumentals, and soulful grooves. L.T.D. released several albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s before disbanding in the late 1980s. Despite the breakup, the band's music continues to be celebrated and enjoyed by fans of R&B and funk music.
