Lulu, born Marie McDonald McLaughlin Lawrie on November 3, 1948, is a Scottish singer, actress, and television personality. She is best known for her hit songs such as "To Sir, with Love" and "Shout," both of which reached the top of the charts in the 1960s. Lulu has had a successful career spanning over six decades, with a number of top 10 singles in the UK and internationally.


In addition to her music career, Lulu has also ventured into acting, appearing in films like "To Sir, with Love" (1967) alongside Sidney Poitier. She has also made numerous television appearances, including hosting her own BBC TV series, "Lulu's Back in Town" in the 1960s. Lulu continues to perform and tour, showcasing her powerful voice and energetic stage presence to audiences around the world.
