Mack 10, born Dedrick D'Mon Rolison on August 9, 1971, is an American rapper and actor from Inglewood, California. He first gained recognition in the 1990s as a member of the hip hop group Westside Connection, alongside Ice Cube and WC. Mack 10 released his debut solo album, "Mack 10," in 1995, which was well-received and certified Gold by the RIAA. He went on to release several more albums throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, including "Based on a True Story" and "Bang or Ball."
In addition to his music career, Mack 10 has also pursued acting, appearing in films such as "Thicker than Water" and "I'm Bout It." He is known for his West Coast gangsta rap style and has collaborated with other notable artists such as Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, and Ice Cube. Mack 10's music often explores themes of street life, gang culture, and the struggles of growing up in urban environments.
