Mana, whose full name is Mana-Sama, is a Japanese musician, songwriter, and fashion designer. He is best known as the founder and leader of the visual kei rock band Malice Mizer, which was active from 1992 to 2001. Mana is considered one of the pioneers of the visual kei movement, known for his elaborate and androgynous fashion sense, as well as his distinctive guitar playing style. After Malice Mizer disbanded, Mana formed the solo project Moi dix Mois in 2002, where he continued to explore his unique blend of visual kei, gothic, and classical influences.
In addition to his music career, Mana is also a successful fashion designer, with his own clothing label, Moi-même-Moitié, which specializes in gothic and aristocratic-inspired fashion. He has collaborated with various artists and designers, and his designs have been featured in fashion shows and magazines around the world. Mana remains a prominent figure in the visual kei and gothic music scenes, known for his innovative and artistic approach to music and fashion.
