Artist Bio:
Marillion is a British rock band formed in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, in 1979. The band's original lineup consisted of Fish (vocals), Steve Rothery (guitar), Mark Kelly (keyboards), Pete Trewavas (bass), and Mick Pointer (drums). Marillion is known for their progressive rock sound that incorporates elements of pop, hard rock, and folk music. They gained popularity in the 1980s with albums such as "Script for a Jester's Tear" and "Misplaced Childhood".


After Fish left the band in 1988, he was replaced by Steve Hogarth, who has been the lead vocalist ever since. Marillion continued to release successful albums like "Brave", "Marbles", and "Sounds That Can't Be Made". The band has a dedicated fan base and is known for their elaborate and theatrical live performances. Marillion has maintained a consistent presence in the music industry for over four decades, releasing a total of 19 studio albums as of 2021.
