Mark Chesnutt is an American country music singer and songwriter born on September 6, 1963, in Beaumont, Texas. He signed with MCA Records in 1989 and released his debut album, "Too Cold at Home," in 1990. The album produced several hit singles, including "Too Cold at Home" and "Brother Jukebox," which both reached the top of the country charts.
Chesnutt went on to have a successful career in country music, recording a total of nine studio albums and charting over 30 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Some of his other notable hits include "Bubba Shot the Jukebox," "Gonna Get a Life," and "It's a Little Too Late." Chesnutt has been praised for his traditional country sound and has been nominated for multiple awards, including the CMA Horizon Award in 1993.
