Mark Lindsay is an American musician and singer-songwriter best known as the lead singer of the 1960s rock band Paul Revere & the Raiders. Born on March 9, 1942, in Eugene, Oregon, Lindsay started his music career as a solo artist before joining Paul Revere & the Raiders in 1962. He quickly became the face and voice of the band, known for hits like "Kicks," "Hungry," and "Indian Reservation."
In addition to his work with Paul Revere & the Raiders, Lindsay also released solo albums and singles throughout the 1970s. He continued to perform and tour, both with the band and as a solo artist, and remains a respected figure in the music industry. Lindsay was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Paul Revere & the Raiders in 2015.
