Mark Lindsay is an American singer, songwriter, and musician, best known as the lead singer of the 1960s rock band Paul Revere & the Raiders. Lindsay was born on March 9, 1942, in Eugene, Oregon. He joined Paul Revere & the Raiders in 1958, and the band went on to achieve great success during the 1960s with hits like "Kicks," "Hungry," and "Indian Reservation."
In addition to his work with Paul Revere & the Raiders, Lindsay released several solo albums and singles, including the hit song "Arizona" in 1970. He also worked as a producer and wrote songs for other artists. Lindsay continues to perform live and has remained active in the music industry, often participating in nostalgia tours and events celebrating the music of the 1960s.
