Mark Lindsay is an American singer, songwriter, and musician who is best known as the lead singer of the rock band Paul Revere & the Raiders. He was born on March 9, 1942, in Eugene, Oregon. Lindsay joined Paul Revere & the Raiders in 1958 and quickly became the face of the band with his distinctive vocals and charismatic stage presence. The band achieved commercial success in the 1960s with hits such as "Kicks," "Hungry," and "Indian Reservation."
In addition to his work with Paul Revere & the Raiders, Lindsay released several solo albums and singles throughout his career. He also branched out into acting, appearing in TV shows and movies in the 1960s and 1970s. Lindsay continues to perform as a solo artist and occasionally reunites with former bandmates for live performances.
