Mark Wills is an American country music artist who was born on August 8, 1973, in Cleveland, Tennessee. He rose to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s with hits such as "Wish You Were Here," "19 Somethin'," and "Don't Laugh at Me." Wills signed with Mercury Nashville Records in 1996, and his debut album was released in 1996, followed by several more successful albums throughout his career. He has received multiple awards and nominations, including winning the Academy of Country Music's Top New Male Vocalist award in 1998.
In addition to his music career, Wills has also dabbled in acting, appearing in TV shows such as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "18 Wheels of Justice." He continues to tour and release music, staying active in the country music scene.
