Maroon 5 is an American pop rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1994. The band consists of lead vocalist Adam Levine, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Jesse Carmichael, bassist Mickey Madden, lead guitarist James Valentine, drummer Matt Flynn, and keyboardist PJ Morton. Originally known as Kara's Flowers, the band rebranded as Maroon 5 in 2001 with the addition of guitarist Valentine.
Maroon 5 gained mainstream success with their debut album "Songs About Jane" in 2002, which included hit singles like "This Love" and "She Will Be Loved." They have since released several more albums, including "It Won't Be Soon Before Long," "Hands All Over," "Overexposed," "V," and "Red Pill Blues." Maroon 5 has won three Grammy Awards and sold over 120 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
