Maroon 5 is an American pop rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1994. The group originally started as Kara's Flowers while the members were still in high school and later rebranded to Maroon 5 in 2001. Led by charismatic frontman Adam Levine, the band's lineup consists of keyboardist Jesse Carmichael, bassist Mickey Madden, guitarist James Valentine, drummer Matt Flynn, and multi-instrumentalist PJ Morton.
Maroon 5 rose to fame with their debut album "Songs About Jane" in 2002, which featured hits like "This Love" and "She Will Be Loved."
