Artist Bio:
Martha Reeves & The Vandellas were an American vocal group formed in Detroit in 1957. The group achieved fame in the 1960s with a string of hit singles on the Motown label, including "Heat Wave," "Dancing in the Street," and "Nowhere to Run." The group's signature sound combined Martha Reeves' powerful lead vocals with the harmonies of backing vocalists Rosalind Ashford and Annette Beard.


Martha Reeves & The Vandellas were known for their energetic live performances and became one of the most successful groups on the Motown roster. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 and continue to be celebrated for their contributions to soul and R&B music.
