Martha & The Vandellas was an American vocal group formed in 1957 in Detroit, Michigan. The group achieved success in the 1960s with a string of hit singles on the Motown label. The group's lead singer, Martha Reeves, along with backing vocalists Rosalind Ashford and Annette Beard, created a sound that blended pop, R&B, and soul music.
