Thy Will Be Done." "Toy Soldiers" reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1989 and was a major international hit. Martika's self-titled debut album, released in 1988, was also successful, reaching the top 20 on the Billboard 200 chart.
In addition to her music career, Martika has appeared in various television shows and films. She starred as Gloria on the popular 1980s TV show "Kids Incorporated" and had guest appearances on shows like "Wiseguy" and "Quantum Leap."
