Robbins released numerous hit songs throughout his career, including "El Paso," "A White Sport Coat and a Pink Carnation," and "Big Iron." He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1982. Apart from his musical success, Robbins also had a passion for racing and competed in NASCAR events. He passed away in 1982 at the age of 57.
