Artist Bio

Artist Bio:
Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell were an American singing duo who achieved success in the late 1960s. They were signed to Motown Records and released several hit duets together, including "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "You're All I Need to Get By." Their soulful and dynamic vocal performances, along with their on-stage chemistry, captivated audiences and helped to define the Motown sound of that era.

Tragically, Tammi Terrell's career was cut short when she collapsed on stage in 1967 due to a brain tumor. Despite her declining health, Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell continued to record together until her untimely death in 1970. Their music continues to be celebrated and remembered as a significant contribution to the soul music genre.
