Artist Bio:
Marvin Gaye was an American singer, songwriter, and record producer who helped shape the sound of Motown in the 1960s. He was known for his smooth and soulful voice, as well as his socially conscious lyrics. Tammi Terrell was a talented singer who collaborated with Gaye on a series of duets in the late 1960s. Their partnership produced several hit songs, including "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing." Tragically, Terrell's career was cut short when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 1967. Despite her illness, she continued to record music with Gaye until her death in 1970.
