Artist Bio:
Mase, born Mason Durell Betha on August 27, 1977, is an American rapper and actor. He rose to fame in the late 1990s with his debut album, "Harlem World," which was released in 1997 and went multi-platinum. Mase was a member of the hip-hop group Children of the Corn before pursuing a solo career. He was signed to Sean "Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy Records and was known for his catchy hooks and smooth delivery.


After achieving success in the music industry, Mase took a break from music to focus on his faith and became a pastor. He returned to the music scene intermittently over the years, releasing albums such as "Double Up" in 1999 and "Welcome Back" in 2004. Mase is known for his unique flow and ability to blend pop sensibilities with street credibility in his music.
