Matchbox Twenty is an American rock band formed in Orlando, Florida in 1995. The band consists of lead vocalist Rob Thomas, rhythm guitarist Kyle Cook, lead guitarist Paul Doucette, and bassist Brian Yale. They gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s with hits such as "Push," "3AM," and "Bent."


Matchbox Twenty's debut album, "Yourself or Someone Like You," was released in 1996 and was a commercial success, reaching multi-platinum status. The band continued to release successful albums throughout the 2000s, including "Mad Season" and "More Than You Think You Are." Matchbox Twenty is known for their alternative rock sound and catchy melodies, and they have toured extensively around the world, building a dedicated fan base.
