Matchbox Twenty is an American rock band formed in Orlando, Florida in 1995. The band consists of lead vocalist Rob Thomas, lead guitarist Kyle Cook, rhythm guitarist Paul Doucette, and bassist Brian Yale. They achieved mainstream success with their debut album, "Yourself or Someone Like You," released in 1996. The album spawned several hit singles, including "Push," "3AM," and "Real World."


Matchbox Twenty's music is characterized by a blend of pop, rock, and alternative influences, with catchy melodies and introspective lyrics. They have released a total of four studio albums, with their most recent being "North" in 2012.
