M.C. Hammer, born Stanley Kirk Burrell on March 30, 1962, is an American rapper, dancer, and entertainer. He rose to fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s with hits like "U Can't Touch This" and "2 Legit 2 Quit." Known for his flashy dance moves and signature baggy pants, Hammer became one of the most successful rap artists of his time. He won several awards for his music, including three Grammy Awards.


In addition to his music career, M.C. Hammer also found success as an entrepreneur, actor, and television personality. He launched his own record label, Oaktown Records, and starred in his own reality TV show, "Hammertime." Despite facing financial challenges and a decline in popularity in the mid-1990s, M.C.
