McGuinness Flint was a British rock band that was active in the early 1970s. The band was formed by two singer-songwriters, Graham Lyle and Hughie Flint, who were previously members of the band, McGuinness Flint was known for their folk-influenced sound and harmonious vocals. They released three studio albums during their career: "McGuinness Flint" (1970), "Happy Birthday, Ruthy Baby" (1971), and "C'est La Vie" (1972).
Their most well-known song is "When I'm Dead and Gone," which reached the top 5 on the UK Singles Chart in 1970. The band disbanded in 1975, with members pursuing solo careers in music. McGuinness Flint's music continues to be appreciated by fans of 1970s rock and folk music.
