Artist Bio:
The Mello-Kings were an American doo-wop group formed in the Bronx, New York in the late 1950s. They are best known for their 1961 hit song "Tonite, Tonite," which reached number 77 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The group consisted of lead singer Jerry Scholl, Neil Arena, Bob Scholl, Larry Esposito, and Ed Quinn.

The Mello-Kings' style was characterized by smooth harmonies and romantic lyrics, typical of the doo-wop genre. Despite their brief commercial success, the group continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s and 1970s. They are considered a one-hit wonder, but their contribution to the doo-wop music scene has left a lasting impact on the genre.
