MFSB, which stands for Mother Father Sister Brother, was a group of Philadelphia soul musicians who were part of the house band for Gamble and Huff's Philadelphia International Records. The Three Degrees were a female vocal trio who were also signed to the same label. Together, they collaborated on "TSOP (The Sound of Philadelphia)" which became one of the most iconic songs of the 1970s. MFSB and The Three Degrees continued to enjoy success in the music industry, with both groups releasing several more albums and singles throughout the 70s and beyond.
