Michael Bolton is an American singer and songwriter who achieved commercial success in the 1980s and 1990s. Known for his powerful voice and emotional ballads, Bolton has sold over 75 million records worldwide. He has won two Grammy Awards for Best Pop Male Vocal Performance and six American Music Awards throughout his career.


Born on February 26, 1953, in New Haven, Connecticut, Bolton started his music career in the hard rock and heavy metal genres before transitioning to adult contemporary music. Some of his most popular songs include "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You," "When a Man Loves a Woman," and "Time, Love and Tenderness." Bolton has also collaborated with other artists such as Kenny G, Celine Dion, and Luciano Pavarotti. Throughout his career, he has released over 20 studio albums and continues to tour and perform around the world.
