Artist Bio:
The Michael Stanley Band was an American rock group formed in Cleveland, Ohio in 1974. The band was fronted by singer-songwriter Michael Stanley, who also played guitar. The group achieved moderate success in the late 1970s and early 1980s, releasing several albums and singles that charted on the Billboard Hot 100.

Some of the band's most popular songs include "He Can't Love You," "Lover," and "My Town." The Michael Stanley Band developed a strong following in the Midwest, particularly in their hometown of Cleveland. Despite never achieving mainstream success on a national level, the band continued to tour and release music throughout the 1980s. Michael Stanley passed away in March 2021, but his music continues to be celebrated by fans of classic rock.
