Michel'le Toussant, known mononymously as Michel'le, is an American R&B singer and songwriter. She was born on December 5, 1970, in Compton, California. Michel'le rose to fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s with her unique high-pitched vocals and soulful sound. She was one of the first female artists to be signed to Eazy-E's Ruthless Records and later to Death Row Records.


Michel'le released her self-titled debut album in 1989, which included the hit singles "No More Lies" and "Nicety." She is also known for her collaborations with hip-hop group N.W.A and her high-profile relationships with Dr. Dre and Suge Knight. Michel'le's music career has spanned several decades, and she continues to perform and create music, often focusing on themes of empowerment and resilience in her lyrics.
