Mint Condition is an American R&B band that formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1984. The band consists of five members: Stokley Williams (lead vocals and drums), Lawrence El (keyboards and piano), Homer O'Dell (guitar), Jeffrey Allen (saxophone), and Ricky Kinchen (bass guitar). Mint Condition gained popularity in the 1990s with their unique blend of R&B, funk, and soul music.


The band is known for their live performances and musical versatility, showcasing a range of influences including Prince, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Stevie Wonder. Mint Condition has released several albums throughout their career, including their self-titled debut album in 1991, which featured the hit single "Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)."
