Artist Bio:
Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels were an American rock band formed in 1964 in Detroit, Michigan. The band's lead vocalist, Mitch Ryder, was known for his powerful voice and energetic stage presence, which helped them gain popularity during the 1960s. They are best known for their hit singles "Devil with a Blue Dress On" and "Jenny Take a Ride!", both released in 1966.

The band's music was a mix of rock, R&B, and soul, and they were considered one of the most successful blue-eyed soul groups of their era. Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels disbanded in 1967, but their music continued to influence future generations of musicians. Ryder embarked on a solo career after the band's breakup, releasing several albums and continuing to perform live.
