Artist Bio:
Mobb Deep was an American hip-hop duo formed in Queens, New York, in 1992. The group consisted of Havoc (Kejuan Muchita) and Prodigy (Albert Johnson), who were known for their gritty and hardcore style of rap. Mobb Deep gained recognition for their vivid storytelling, dark production, and introspective lyrics that reflected the harsh realities of inner-city life.

The duo's most well-known album, "The Infamous," released in 1995, is considered a classic in the hip-hop genre and helped solidify their reputation as one of the most influential groups in East Coast hip-hop. Mobb Deep continued to release music throughout the 2000s and 2010s, collaborating with other hip-hop artists and maintaining a devoted fan base. Tragically, Prodigy passed away in 2017, but Mobb Deep's impact on the hip-hop scene continues to be felt, with their music still revered by fans and fellow artists alike.
