Modest Mouse is an American indie rock band formed in 1992 in Issaquah, Washington. The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Isaac Brock, drummer Jeremiah Green, and bassist Eric Judy. They gained popularity in the early 2000s with the release of their albums "The Moon & Antarctica" in 2000 and "Good News for People Who Love Bad News" in 2004, which included hits like "Float On" and "Ocean Breathes Salty."


Modest Mouse is known for their eclectic sound, blending elements of indie rock, alternative rock, and post-punk. Their music often features complex arrangements, introspective lyrics, and a distinctive vocal style from frontman Isaac Brock.
