Mondo Rock is an Australian rock band formed in 1976 by singer-songwriter Ross Wilson. The band's lineup has seen numerous changes over the years, with Wilson being the only constant member. Mondo Rock achieved commercial success in the 1980s with hit songs such as "Come Said The Boy" and "State of The Heart". Their music is characterized by a mix of rock, pop, and new wave influences.


Despite several lineup changes, Mondo Rock continued to release music and tour throughout the 1980s and 1990s. The band's most successful album, "Nuovo Mondo", was released in 1982 and reached platinum status in Australia.
