The group consists of four members: Takaakira "Taka" Goto on guitar, Tamaki Kunishi on bass guitar, Yoda on guitar, and Dahm Majuri Cipolla on drums. They are known for their atmospheric, cinematic soundscapes that blend elements of post-rock, shoegaze, and classical music.
Mono has released ten studio albums, with their most recent being "Pilgrimage of the Soul" in 2021. They have also collaborated with orchestras around the world, adding a symphonic dimension to their music. Mono has gained a dedicated following for their emotionally charged and dynamic live performances, which often feature elaborate visuals and lighting effects.
