Artist Bio:
Montgomery Gentry was an American country music duo formed by Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry. They released their debut album "Tattoos & Scars" in 1999, which included hit singles like "Hillbilly Shoes" and "Lonely and Gone". The duo gained popularity for their unique blend of country and Southern rock music, often incorporating themes of small-town life, patriotism, and blue-collar values in their songs.

Throughout their career, Montgomery Gentry released several albums and achieved numerous chart-topping hits, including "Something to Be Proud Of" and "My Town". They were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2009 and won multiple awards, including the CMA Duo of the Year in 2000 and 2001. Tragically, Troy Gentry passed away in a helicopter crash in 2017, bringing an end to the duo. Montgomery continues to perform as a solo artist, honoring the legacy of Montgomery Gentry.
