Montgomery Gentry was an American country music duo consisting of Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry. They formed in 1999 and were known for their signature southern rock-influenced sound and high-energy live performances. The duo released a total of nine studio albums, including hits such as "My Town," "Something to Be Proud Of," and "Gone." They were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2009.
Tragically, Troy Gentry died in a helicopter crash in 2017, bringing an end to the duo. Eddie Montgomery has continued to perform as a solo artist, keeping the spirit of Montgomery Gentry alive through his music. Montgomery Gentry's music continues to be celebrated by country music fans for its authenticity and storytelling.
