Artist Bio:
Montgomery Gentry was an American country music duo consisting of vocalists Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry. They were known for their Southern rock-influenced country music style and energetic live performances. The duo was formed in the late 1990s and released their debut album, "Tattoos & Scars," in 1999, which included hits like "Hillbilly Shoes" and "Lonely and Gone."

Throughout their career, Montgomery Gentry released a total of seven studio albums and produced numerous chart-topping singles, including "Something to Be Proud Of," "If You Ever Stop Loving Me," and "Back When I Knew It All." Tragically, Troy Gentry died in a helicopter crash in 2017, bringing an end to the duo. Montgomery continues to perform as a solo artist, honoring Gentry's memory and their music.
